Training that counts towards your CPD
I write and deliver all the training myself. I wrote the pedagogy, and I have trained other professionals since 2007. Every course counts towards your continuing professional development (CPD) hours, with a certificate stating the hours completed. Online training is live and recorded, so a team can attend together or catch up.
Training routes
Foundations
For anyone who works with neurodivergent or disabled children and young people and wants to understand the approach.
£195 per personRecorded and self paced, with one live question and answer session. 6 CPD hours. Parents, carers, home educators and unschoolers £95. Volunteers in registered charities and CICs £120.

Practitioner
For teachers, tutors, support workers and group leaders who will deliver under the approach. This is the course a licensed practitioner completes.
£595 per personFounding cohort £476 until 31 August 2027. Four live online sessions of three hours across one term in a cohort of up to twelve, plus a reflective practice submission. 12 CPD hours. First year practitioner licence included.

- Curating environments: sensory, physical, emotional and cultural access
- Recording progress so that it stands up at annual review
- Reflective practice, positionality and intersectionality
- Listed as a Freedom Approach Licensed Practitioner on completion
Whole team
For a setting, a service or a local authority training a whole staff team at once, online or in person.
From £700 a dayVoluntary sector £700, state sector £800, private and corporate £900 per day, plus travel for in person delivery. Half days available.

A full day of 6 CPD hours, a half day of 3, a four hour webinar or a two hour introduction. The foundation course for any staff team.
Understanding and Supporting PDA
A workshop on pathological demand avoidance and low demand, connection first practice, for staff who work with demand avoidant young people.
Critical Reflections on Autism
A deeper, reflective session drawn from postgraduate study in autism, for experienced practitioners and leaders.
Consultancy by the hour
Advice, written work, meetings and reviews outside a course or a licence are charged at £150 an hour, two hour minimum. Full and half days at the sector rates above.
